The Footloose Travel world service is made possible by a network of agents around the world. These agents are chosen for their local knowledge and high standards, as well as their understanding of the sort of trips that Footloose travelers want.
When you travel with Footloose your day-to-day contact will be with
your guides and porters. These are all local people, trained, experienced

He has organised and led adventure treks in the Himalayas, climbing trips in the Andes, safaris in East Africa, desert travel with the Bedouin in Egypt, jungle trips in the Amazon and a lot of other trips in many other countries. Roger used this experience to set up a major trekking company nearly 25 years ago. Eleven years ago he took on another challenge and yet another company was born, this time starting in his spare room - Footloose Adventure Travel. Nowadays many of his trips are spent sailing in various parts of the world.

Janet McDougall's career in business was becoming severely disrupted by trips to interesting parts of the world. Ten years ago, after a couple of trips with Footloose, she took the sensible step of becoming one of the directors. Her travels have taken her through the USA and Australia, overlanding through Africa, trekking in Nepal and Europe, Kenya, Zanzibar, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Sweden and Iceland. She has climbed Kilimanjaro five times and returned from Aconcagua with frost nip in her big toe. In the last few years she has travelled to Patagonia, Outer Mongolia and Namibia.
