Hiking in the Rest of the World
Patagonia
Patagonia is a privileged destination, one of those increasingly rare sites of astounding natural beauty, still largely undiscovered and untouched. It is a geographical myth with scenery ranging from dramatic mountain formations and smoky volcanoes to flat barren pampas and expansive ice fields. During this unique trekking journey, you explore Patagonia on foot on both the Chilean and Argentinean sides. You start with unforgettable hiking to see Mount Fitz Roy's immense granitic rock and the deep blue of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Then you cross the Chilean border and head to Torre del Paine, a trip filled with unique and unforgettable landscapes: Torres and Cuernos del Paine, Grey Glacier, Pehoé Lake. The adventure finishes in Tierra de Fuego where you touch the tip of the continent.
Utah - 14 Nights
The State of Utah contains some of Americas most dramatic National Parks, including famous names like rches, Bryce, Zion and of course the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. This super holiday will take you to all of these, as well as others which might be less well known but are equally beautiful.
Colorado - 15 Nights
Colorado is a very beautiful state, with the dramatic Rocky Mountains running north to south and spectacular red sandstone canyon lands to the west. It is a land of high plains and soaring mountains, with no less than 55 peaks of over 14,000 feet. Your holiday is based in four centres, each giving a different aspect of this diverse state. It starts in Denver, where you stay one night before heading northwest to Estes Park. Three nights at delightful Grand Lake Lodge, standing at over 9,000 feet above sea level, give two full days of walking in the Rocky Mountain National Park. The lodge has a very scenic location on Grand Lake, at the very edge of the National Park
